Suffolk University Elects Brookline Bank’s Paul Flannery as a New Trustee
Vice President for Commercial Banking at Brookline Bank will serve as the
Sawyer Business School Alumni Trustee
Boston, MA July 27, 2020 – Suffolk University recently announced that Paul Flannery, Vice President, Commercial Banking at Brookline Bank and an alumnus of Suffolk University, has been elected to its Board of Trustees to represent the Sawyer Business School.
The Board of Trustees at Suffolk University has a total of 28 members, from diverse industries that serve the university with their unique skills. This year, five new trustees were elected. Flannery is joined by one other alumni trustee, and three charter trustees.
In a press release issued by Suffolk University to announce this news, President Marisa Kelly stated: "These trustees represent all three schools and bring a wealth of varied experience that will be important in helping to guide Suffolk as we work to advance our mission, take advantage of opportunities and address challenges."

Flannery is a former board member of Victory Programs, a Boston organization that provides innovative health, housing and prevention programs throughout Greater Boston. He also served on the Board of Visitors at Fenway Health. Flannery holds BSBA and MBA degrees from Suffolk University. He resides in Boston, MA.
