Brookline Bank Unveils Newly Renovated Salem Street Office in Medford
BROOKLINE, MA, August 15, 2019 – Brookline Bank held a ribbon cutting celebration yesterday for its newly renovated office located at 201 Salem Street in Medford, MA. Medford Mayor Stephanie Burke joined Brookline Bank, government and Chamber of Commerce officials at the event. The bank’s Salem Street location was completely remodeled to deliver a more contemporary and inviting banking environment for both personal and business banking customers.

Salem Street Manager, Tanya Medeiros, welcomed everyone to officially open the renovated space which features a revitalized exterior, new lobby and teller line, safe deposit viewing room, meeting rooms and offices, and a new training center in the basement. “This office has literally been transformed into a showplace for my team to work and for our customers to conduct their banking. The comments – especially from our long-time customers - have been just great,” said Medeiros.
After touring the new space, Medford Mayor Stephanie Burke commented, “I’m so pleased to see Brookline Bank contributing to moving Medford forward. This beautiful branch is a great example of how, along with local businesses, we are revitalizing downtown Medford.”
The bank is continuing its renovation celebration on Thursday with a “friends and neighbors” event with free ice cream, Italian ice and other treats, as well as games, giveaways, and tours of the newly updated office.
Hours of operation remain the same for the Salem Street office: Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm; Thursday and Friday, 8:30 to 5:00 pm; and Saturday, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. There are also extended hours at the bank’s Drive-Up Window which is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Free parking is available behind the office.
